Barry M Cosmic Lights Highlighter Palette

LeahXL/ Makeup

Cosmic

Barry M Cosmic Lights Highighter palette is another offering from the drugstore that is keeping in with the glowing trend at a purse friendly price point.

I decided I would pick one up as I want to see how their highlighters compare to the likes of Sleek, Makeup Revolution and MUA.

I am a HUGE fan of their liquid lipsticks so I wanted to try some of their other products and when I saw this lovely looking palette I was excited to pick it up – especially as they were on 3 for 2.

The packaging is cardboard but all in all I LOVE it. I love the colour, I love the holographic lettering and the doodle type of art on the front. It’s unlike anything I have every seen.

It isn’t magnetic so I wouldn’t pack this for travelling but I still love how light it is and slender enough it was to put in to my makeup storage.

There is six shades 4 are cream highlighters and 2 are powders.

I haven’t tried any of the cream highlighters as I don’t tend to use them on a day to day basis but I did use the powders and I have to say, I am impressed.

I wish they had more powders to be honest. I am not sure of many people using creams. It would have been nice to at least have 3 and 3. But then beggars can’t be choosers.

The palette is affordable and the two powders are very much worth the price of the palette.

I have swatched the powders in the palette to show you how lovely they are.

They have a lovely sheeny texture and smooth. The shade colours are so different when swatched as in the pan they look pink and white but they come out champagne and icey blue.

Actually the colours are lovely and unique.

I have to admit when I first saw the palette I thought it looked like an Anastasia Beverly Hills highlight palette and the powder colours do have a similar shading (although the creams may be massively different.

So, what do you think? Do you think you would try this palette?
