On the never ending quest to find a perfect budget concealer I have been trying everything that has been recommended. My latest purchase is the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer.
I guess I should start by saying straight off the bat that this is ok. It didn’t blow my mind.
Product Details (from the Boots website)
This light enhancing concealer conceals dark circles and imperfections whilst smoothing and hydrating for 24 hours.
The packaging is simple and chic. A frosted style tube and in line with the bourjois products like the velvet lip products.
I do think it’s quite small though – but it could just be deceiving packaging.
It’s a smooth consistency and feels really light on the face. Although in the picture below it looks opaque but I would say it’s quite sheer.
The colour is nice and yellow but I do have the lightest one which is still a little too dark for brightening under the eyes. I use this to cover up though and it works nicely.
This covers and conceals ok and it’s ok lasting but not the 24 hours it claims. I like the colour for concealing and because I am not using it on my eyes I can’t say whether it creases or not.
This is a lovely concealer if you want something light and don’t mind it not being a very light shade (if you’re not pale). I will definitely finish this product off and have it as part of my makeup routine at the moment but I won’t be in much of a hurry to repurchase.
I have bought other budget brands which have impressed me more but still looking for the ultimate budget brand one.
I have been recommended the NYX concealer so that will be next on my purchase list.
