The February Edit | What’s on my face this month

LeahXL/ Makeup

February 1

It’s been a really spendy month this February. I had some Birthday money and I have been buying things as and when I see a good deal on things I have been eyeing up. Sometimes for months.

This month I have been loving a combination of some of the new, and not so new.

February 2

I have been trying out the Rimmel Match Perfection duo this February. So many people who I admire have been saying how much they enjoy this pairing so I wanted to give it go. I am always on the hunt for a decent drugstore foundation so this peeked my interest.

I received the Chantecaille mascara sample in the Space NK advent calendar and I have been so surprised at how lovely this is. It’s volumising, lengthening, fluff-fying (this is a word!) and  just the nicest smelling mascara I have ever used.

I also have been loving the cult favourite, Velvet Teddy by MAC. The tube you see below is from the Shadescents collection so show the colour of the lipstick on the top.  It’s a lovely browny, pinky, peachy nude.

February 3

I have heard mixed review of the Sweet Peach Glow palette but I really have been enjoying it. The blush and the highlight definitely elevate this palette for me. I have been using the highlight more though as the next product has been my blush of choice.

February 4

This lovely little palette of joy is the Too Faced Love Flush Palette. These are such beautiful blushes and every single one is great on my skin. They blend, they are build-able and they are so long lasting.

February 6

Finally, the palette of choice this February has to be the Anastasia Beverley Hills Modern Renaissance palette.

What can I say about this palette that hasn’t already been said? It’s just so warm and lovely and the shadows are perfect, smooth, slightly powdery but not too much, blendable and pigmented.

February 7

My go to look this February.

February 8

What has been your go to this February?

No eye look ever looks same for me, but been using more highlighter recently, and been loving new eyebrow pencil that makes me feel like i have real eyebrows! haha. I love your eyeshadow in this picture. Some fabulous picks! Never took to rimmel foundations as tried as teenager, but maybe worth trying again as keep hearing great things about this one 🙂 x
