Sarah Moon

I was so luck to get my hands on the Sarah Moon palette this from Space NK last month and I took it away with me when I was working away to really give it a go. This is an exclusive item to Space NK and is still available here.

I have never used any of the dual intensity products from Nars, in fact I haven’t used any of the eye or face powders at all so this has been a great experience.

Product information

(from the Space NK website)

A limited-edition collection designed to sharpen and soften. Deepen and diffuse. Evoke and provoke. Every look demands a second look.

Palette contains:

• Six Dual-Intensity Eyeshadows

• Three Dual-Intensity Blushes. Limited edition shades.

Packaging

The packaging is what you would expect from Nars, sleek, sturdy and stylish. I love the print on the front which actually is quite trippy. If you look closely it’s slightly blurred but from a distance looks 3D. I love it.

It has a magnetic closure which is really good and won’t open in you case if you take it away.

The mirror is nice and large so is really handy when doing your makeup on the go.

Eyeshadow

I know I have a thousand neutral palettes but this is quite different to anything I own. We do have the neutral shades but I love the coolness of the shades, especially in the time when most palettes are leaning to the warm side.

They are nicely pigmented without fall out and the shades are great for natural looks and smokey looks. I also use the face products for eyeshadow too but I will come to that.

Face Products

The standout is the blush and the highlight in this palette. I love them both so much – they are gorgeous on my skin and I think they would really suit most skin tones. The bronzer is warm but actually works as a neutral blush that warms the face if used on the cheekbones.

The highlight is like a natural golden sheen rather than glitter which I have to say I prefer day to day.

Longevity

Both products last really well and the eyeshadows don’t crease. I haven’t tried them wet but I am looking forward to playing with it more in the future to intensify what it can do.

Final thoughts

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this palette as much as I have and I can’t wait to play with it more. Especially as now I am going to be working in an office more and need more natural looks this will definitely be something I use more regularly.

Have you tried this palette? What are your favourite Nars products?
