It’s only recently that I have been able to venture in to the luxury side of makeup and I have to say I am really happy with the items I have so far so I wanted to put together a wish list for the ultimate luxury beauty store in the UK, Space NK.
Please don’t be mistaken, I still love budget brands but there was something in the luxury packaging that lures me in.
So when Really Ree posted a video of the luxury advent calendar that was free with £250 worth of purchases I wanted to grab this offer and buy some presents for Christmas at the same time.
So what was on my wishlist that I could put together for £250? The below came to exactly £250 and the advent calendar did come free. Honestly I can’t wait for it to arrive so I can review the little bits.
I wanted to start with something for the skin and the NUXE Micellar Cleansing Water (£14) with Rose petals really caught my eye. I’m not sure of the ingredients but I have just bought another micellar water recently from Boots which I think might be comparible.
I have never ever tried anything as luxurious as this duo (£35) from Laura Mercier but I have heard such good things. I’m not a massive fan of sweet scents normally but my favourite dessert of all time is creme brûlée so I thought this would be a great idea, either that or it will be a wonderful gift.
This sweet little Diptyque holiday fragrance set (£75) is perfect for wanting to try their scents but also if you wanted some lovely luxury stocking fillers for your girlfriends or Sisters/Sister-In-Laws etc then this would be a lovely way to get them something beautiful to try.
I already own the large Moonstone shimmering skin perfector in liquid form which I adore but I have always been keen to try the pressed powder since trying champagne pop. This cute little set is £20 and honestly would be such a lovely gift for any of your pale to medium toned friends.
I haven’t bought much from Nars before however in my recent (and first) Seephora haul I had a dual intensity shadow in a set which I am absolutely impressed by in Himalia. When I saw this limited edition Give In Take Dual-Intensity Eye & Cheek Palette by Sarah Moon (£45) in the dual intensity formula I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.
The Laura Mercier Caviar sticks have started to gain a it of a reputation in the beauty community for being amazing one and done shadow sticks and good long-lasting bases so when I saw the holiday set with 4 mini’s (£29) in I just couldn’t resist. This is also an amazing stocking filler for friends or if, like me, you have two Sister-in-Laws you can split it so they get two colours each.
And the final but exciting holiday set is this Nars Mind Game Mini Velvet Lip Glide Collection by Sarah Moon (£32). I have heard these are a lovely formula and with them being mini, once again, you can split between friends / family or you can try out different colours without spending a fortune.
Then after spending all that money you get the following for free, which I believe is still available in stores but not online.
The set includes the following brands:
- REN
- Caudalie
- Radical
- Kat Burki
- Sunday Riley
- Aromatherapy Associates
- Rodial
- Goldfaden MD
- Diptyque
- Malin & Goetz
- Strivectin
- Chantecaille
- Byredo
- Oribe
- WEI
- NARS
- Laura Mercier
- 111 Skin
- Nuxe
- Eve Lom
- Cowshed
- and a £50 Space NK voucher (so that will be spent on something exciting too!)
Have you gone luxury yet? What do you want for Christmas that is a little higher end?
This looks so fab! I really wanted to get this but just couldn’t afford the expense so close to Christmas ???? I can’t wait to read about your advent calendar when it arrives. Lucky girl x
Thank you!
It has arrived and I can honestly say it’s the most beautiful thing I have ever seen but I need to work out how to get a good photograph! 🙂
I like your lux list. I do like Nuxe products – The creme brulle from Laura mercier is fabulous! R
Thank you 🙂
My sister has been loiking for several things on this list for her upcoming wedding. Thanks as I will send it off to her for ideas..
Ooh. I love a good wedding! I hope she enjoys her day x
I would have a field day looking for new products. I would buy Nars laguna bronzer, orgasm blush and a few lippies.
I could easily spend £250 haha
Haha – it was harder than you think.I tried to get it on the dot too – didn’t want to go a penny over!
I believe the Nars Laguna bronzer is in the calendar… I know about three or four and not sure when they pop up but that was one of them.

I haven’t heard of most of these brands but they do look gorgeous – a real treat. Great selection. Kaz x
They are definitely a beauty bloggers wet dream lol x
I’d love to have a £250 splurge in here! Sounds worth it with the advent calendar and the voucher though. Enjoy it all!
Aw thank you! I don’t often spend that sort of money but with Christmas round the corner it has been a little easier. x
I’ve heard such good things about Laura Mercier products! The NARS palette looks stunning, too <3 Enjoy!
I’ve not tried much from her so I am excited to give them a go. I am taking the NARs palette away with me this week so I will give it a proper review after 🙂 x
Fab products here. I love Laura Mercier products.
I’ve not tried many so I am excited x
I am not that into makeup so this most expensive makeup I bought was a Bobbi brown foundation stick in Sephora which turned out to be wrong shade for me.
I love this wishlist, in particular the Nars! I’m not sure where my nearest Space NK is, I’ll have to find out!
Some amazing products, I’m a bit afraid of my local space NK it’s a bit clinical and last time I nearly knocked someone from corrie over!! maybe i should stick to online shopping
