Another day, another Highlight palette! I am obsessed and the Zoeva Spring Strobe Spectrum palette has really been a surprise to me.
I have been eyeing up these highlight palettes for a while yet hadn’t seen too many people shouting about them so I wasn’t sure what they would be like. There is a Spring, Summer and Winter Strobe palette available but this one I thought might suit me.
When it arrive I opened it up and I couldn’t understand why I would have 4 pans the same shade. Even holding it up to the light there wasn’t any difference really in colour. Which is proven in the pic below.
Yet, when I swatched them, I was SO SHOCKED!
These are basically the most beautiful duchrome highlighters I have ever seen.
Forget the Anastasia Beverley Hills one and the Kat Von D one. This should be raved about more AND IT’S ONLY £20!!!
I mean, wow!
I was so impressed.
Before I show you the swatches, in my usual style I will talk about the product.
Packaging
I love the packaging. Zoeva often do sleek and slim packaging really well and this is no exception. The only gripe I have is that the palette opens like a book rathen than bottom to top like most palettes so it’s slightly annoying. This is minor but for some reason it really narks me. I like to keep it in the sleeve too. I don’t know why but it is so lovely and it’s that weird rubberised texture which I sort of like.
There are 4 large pans in the palette and each is well secured so no risk of losing one.
It is cardboard packaging but most of them are. I think I would rather the packaging be light and thing that bulky and heavy.
Texture
The texture of these is really smooth. They are light and not at all powdery. I love that about them.
Application
I used a little real techniques brush which is for setting concealer but I really like it for precise highlighting
Colours
I promised you swatches so here they are:
You wouldn’t know from the pans (and you can see in the initial photo) that they would be four different colours. Pink, Yellow, Blue and Green! Again, minor issue is that you can’t tell which one is which and they don’t have colour names so you end up just sort of trying to remember.
They are so different to anything I have in my collection.
Longevity
I tend to find that highlight stays the least long on my face but these to last the same as all my others. Definitely a good few hours before I rub them off (I am terrible for touching my face during the day).
Final thoughts
I am so happy I got this and I have the winter one and the summer one now on my wish list. I love these and wish more people raved about them as they deserve it.
What do you think? Have you tried these?
I definitely need this in my life, it looks gorgeous!!!

It is! I love it..they really are so underrated x
I got the Kat Von D one as a birthday present from my bestie. I’ve never really been a highlighter girl, so I was pleasantly surprised by just how versatile the product was!
Tiny pans though, so the Zoeva one definitely looks like better value.

Oh this palette looks gorgeous. I can’t believe the colours of the swatches from how it looks in the pan too! Definitely adding this to my wishlist now.
I keep flicking back between pictures to see the swatch and how it looks in the pan! Can’t believe they all look the same but are sooo different.
Wow they really are such different colours, that’s so amazing yet so weird! Looks so lovely!
I thought they were all the same colours too but they look gorgeous
